Holiiiii!
I’m Laura Egni, artist and founder of GIIA Studio.
GIIA began with a little girl making her cousins and friends eat her raw microwave banana cakes. Over the years, that childhood fun turned into a real passion. Then I earned my bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, and thankfully, my cakes stopped being raw.
The name GIIA was created from a combination of letters and symbols inspired by art and family, then drawn by hand and designed by me.
My family and friends describe me as creative, fun, and detail oriented. My passion for cooking is how I chose to express my personality. I hope that my art, in this medium I chose to express it, makes you feel and know a little bit of me and my world in a way that words alone could not explain.
